At 204 pages, this volume follows Mary Shelley’s original novel about a scientist’s hubris and the pitiable creature who did not ask to be brought to life. Filled with page after page of stunning pen-and-ink drawings, readers will find themselves lost in each of these classic scenarios, content to soak in every detail before entering the next page. Reproducing Georges's unprocessed illustration boards on uncoated woodfree paper, these artist-edition books will capture the tactile details of his work as if holding the originals.

3.75/5.

I seriously liked the first half. It definitely became a bit boring afterwards.

There are some very beautifully written segments, but there is also some character behavior that... maybe was normal 200 years ago, but definitely made me disconnect a bit from the story.

I will be reading the revised story, because I've heard great things about it and there is definitely a lot to learn from these.
