Stephanie Jane recenzis Legacy de Terry Tyler
A great addition to the series

As the final book (as it was when I originally wrote this review) of Terry Tyler's Project Renova series, Legacy spans a century of time to show us how life has changed for the descendants of those who survived bat fever. The book doesn't follow a linear timeline so I sometimes struggled to keep track of how everyone was related to each other and where their individual stories intersected. Other than this, however, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Legacy. It was fascinating to see how people we had met as children in the previous books had turned out as adults, as well as how lifestyles we had watched being invented had now become ingrained traditions. Tyler convincingly portrays characters in very disparate locations.
The idea that even a century after a disaster, life across what remained of Britain would still be so completely different to what we know now is frightening. …

The idea that even a century after a disaster, life across what remained of Britain would still be so completely different to what we know now is frightening. Our conceptions of social stability really don't have particularly strong foundations and most of us I think would be hopelessly unprepared for even a minor equivalent of a Project Renova situation! Legacy provides a satisfying conclusion to the Project Renova series and, despite all its horrors, I will be sad to leave this vividly portrayed world behind. Hopefully I will never have to call upon any of its lessons for myself?
