I admit I was sceptical when I first saw this opportunity to review Marielle S Smith's new book, 365 Days Of Gratitude Journal. I had generally connected the concept of daily gratitude with religious practice and hadn't thought of it as something that could really work for me. However, on receiving my copy a month ago, I decided to take the project seriously for a month leading up to my review and have surprised myself with its positive results!
I am impressed with the thought that Marielle has put into the page layouts throughout 365 Days Of Gratitude Journal. Marielle's weekly and monthly overview pages are a great tool for recognising personal growth. I especially liked these opportunities to evaluate my progress.
I am much more practiced now at both acknowledging 'spots of luck' through each day and at remembering them to note in my evening journal. The daily ritual has also noticeably lifted my mood because I am focused on positives. It's a wonderfully self-perpetuating hobby and I am certainly grateful to Marielle and Rachel's Random Resources blog tours for opening my eyes!
